Even the simplest tool is needed for instruction. In our case, we need pencils and markers in order for my students to show their work. As a teacher, my job is to help my students develop communication skills. My students need to learn how to read, listen, and write. Good writing skills are critical for todays students and it needs to be reinforced not just through electronics, but by handwritten activities. My students are required to show their writing skills in order to express their knowledge and their critical thinking. In order to help develop their skills, they must have the right tools to be able to practice as much as possible during instructional time.
