The materials I am requesting are for our classroom home. My students need to feel comfortable to continue to grow academically. I would love to give my students more seating options so they can make more effective learning choices. They need to feel like they are independent enough to choose the seats their bodies desire, just like in the real world. Currently, my students are sitting in chairs that are extremely tiny and hard. When they read they are at different tables in their chairs, sitting under tables with a pillow or just laying on the floor with a favorite book. By donating to my project, we are keeping them focused, motivated and increasing their attention on that one book they are not just analyzing but falling in love with. These different types of seating can also be moved everywhere in the classroom. The comfortable seating may even assist with any other subjects from Math, Science, Social Studies etc.
