My students sit at tables instead of desks. Before receiving this donation, transitions used up more time because students were constantly moving from their chairs to go to the end cap where our drawers are to find what they need for our next subject. Now that we have the seat sacks, instructional time is maximized as their items are now readily available at their finger tips without having to get up and walk to the end of the table for supplies, or what for a classmate to pass what they need. Much of a teacher's complaint is lack of time in a day for instruction.
