Kindergarten is a VERY essential part a child's school career. Kindergarten is where students learn social skills, letters and sounds, number sense, and... how to hold a pencil! I know this is not something one would normally think of, but how many times do you see a young child manipulating a stylus to work on a electronic device? It's very rare! You will mostly see the index finger being used which is not great practice to strengthen the finger muscles. These requested materials are essential in Kindergarten. Fine motor skills are unintentionally overlooked when it comes to early childhood education and development. These requested materials are essential in Kindergarten. Not only will they reinforce skills taught by the state standards, but they also provide practice for fine motor skills. Please consider making a difference in my students' development.
