Your support has helped us turn a chaotic space into a professional studio where the students feel proud to learn. Before this, we were struggling to keep our practice skirts organized and our spacing straight, but the new clothing rack, hangers, and floor tape have fixed that completely. The students now have a dedicated place to hang their skirts, which teaches them responsibility, and the tape helps us start class smoothly because everyone knows exactly where to stand.\r\n\r\nThe biggest impact on their learning, however, has been the sound. In our style of dance, it is critical that the students can hear the music and the sound of their feet at the same time. Our old speaker just wasn't loud enough to compete with the noise of our footwork. Thanks to the new speaker and power hub, the music is now clear and powerful. My students can finally stay on the beat without the music getting drowned out by their dancing. You've given us the gift of reliable sound and a beautiful space, and we are so grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1761574256372,"projectUrl":"project/on-the-roll-again-help-with-our-year-on/9560865/","projectTitle":"On the Roll Again: Help With Our Year on Wheels","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gonzales","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2089683_272x272.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1460400536682","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/tessa-langley"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_13521","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":2815,"numTeachers":193,"percentFrplEligible":78,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":11,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":81,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":1,"gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"14.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":75.9,"schoolId":13521,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Grand Prairie High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Grand Prairie High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/grand-prairie-independent-school-district/grand-prairie-high-school/13521"}
