Many of my students come to school without having had enough to eat, so having snacks available helps them feel cared for, comfortable, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nWhen the snacks arrived, my students were incredibly excited! They were especially happy to see some of their favorite treats, and it was wonderful to see their smiles and excitement. We use the snacks as a way to support students throughout the school day and as positive encouragement when they demonstrate hard work, kindness, good behavior, or perseverance.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments is seeing a student who is having a difficult day become more engaged after receiving a small snack and encouragement. It may seem like a simple treat, but to my students, it shows that someone cares about them and wants them to succeed.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, my students will keep working hard in math and science, participating in hands-on activities, and preparing for important assessments. Having snacks available will help us create a classroom where students feel supported, motivated, and ready to learn. Thank you to our generous donors for helping make our classroom a place where my students can learn, grow, and feel cared for.","fullyFundedDate":1785707071557,"projectUrl":"project/sweet-rewards-for-students-who-need-them/10340111/","projectTitle":"Sweet Rewards for Students Who Need Them Most","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Malik","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-malik"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_15257","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":263,"numTeachers":40,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":27,"percentBlack":27,"percentWhite":12,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":26,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":4,"gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"6.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Record","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":70.5,"schoolId":15257,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Allen Aldridge Junior Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Allen Aldridge Junior Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/fort-bend-independent-school-district/blue-ridge-elementary-school/15257"}
