The current laptop I use to present my online lessons is very old and slow. It would be great to have an updated computer that is compatible with today's websites and allows me to provide higher quality virtual education for my students. Now that we're distance learning for the long term, I need a computer that can multitask. I need to be able to toggle between Schoology, a document camera, and then back to TEAMS without lags and errors. I often experience difficulty with delays and can not video conference and pull up a website to show my students simultaneously. This a not only frustrating for me, but for my students as well. I am a Physical Education teacher and need to project for my students how to do certain moves or positions to stretch their muscles before certain games. I would like to be able to split the screen and show them how to do the move correctly through a video on YouTube or an educational program. That way they can see the correct move and watch me simultaneously. It is impossible to do this with my current outdated laptop.
