In our classroom, technology is used for personalized learning, and the headphones allow students to fully engage with educational videos, reading programs, and interactive lessons without distractions. This means each student can work at their own pace, replay instructions when needed, and better understand new concepts. The headphones have made it easier for students to stay focused and take ownership of their learning in a way that wasn't possible before.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is having their own set of headphones to use during independent work time. It makes learning feel more special and helps them stay immersed in their activities. Some of our more easily distracted students have especially benefited—they are now able to concentrate longer and feel more confident completing assignments on their own. We've also seen quieter students participate more because they can listen closely and process information comfortably. Your support has created a more inclusive and engaging learning environment, and we are so grateful for the impact you've made.","fullyFundedDate":1769177263624,"projectUrl":"project/help-my-students-get-headphones-to-be-su/9908168/","projectTitle":"Help My Students Get Headphones to Be Successful!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Bautista","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6141176_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1644274744660","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6141176"},{"teacherId":4158319,"projectId":7544611,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, our students are starting their days with renewed confidence and a stronger sense of belonging. We've been using them during activities like cornhole, basketball, and tug-of-war to build not just physical skills, but teamwork, communication, and confidence.\r\n\r\nIn cornhole, students are working on hand-eye coordination, focus, and friendly competition. In basketball, they're developing teamwork, movement, and decision-making. Tug-of-war has been one of the biggest highlights—it really teaches students about effort, teamwork, and perseverance. One of the best moments was watching a group of students who don't usually work together come together, communicate, and win as a team. That moment showed real growth beyond just physical activity.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, they were excited and immediately engaged. There was a lot of energy, smiles, and even some disbelief that they got to use new equipment. Many of them couldn't wait to try everything out, and it created an instant boost in participation—especially from students who are usually more hesitant.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we are building on this by creating structured lessons that combine skill development with teamwork challenges. Students will continue improving their coordination and fitness, but also focus on leadership, communication, and sportsmanship. We are also planning small group competitions and skill stations so every student stays involved and continues to grow.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, our classroom has become more active, inclusive, and motivating. Thank you for making this possible for our students—we truly appreciate it.","fullyFundedDate":1774514982037,"projectUrl":"project/field-day-rocks/10044851/","projectTitle":"Field Day ROCKS","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Kang","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9774550"},{"teacherId":4076988,"projectId":8944197,"letterContent":"The love of things STEM inspired my desire to encourage my students to build, innovate, create, and design. After a long, high-energy session of running, playing, and giving it their all, they were exhausted, sweaty, and ready for a break. When I brought the Powerade out, they got so pumped—some of them were cheering and saying how much they needed it after working so hard. It was great to see how excited they were and how quickly it lifted their spirits. The drinks helped them cool down, rehydrate, and get some energy back after being outside for so long. It also gave us a moment to slow down, regroup, and talk about why hydration and recovery are important after physical activity. For the kids, it felt like a reward for their effort and hard work, and it showed them that I noticed how much energy they had put into the activities.
