When I announce to my students, "It's science time", they get so excited. They love science because there is a lot of fun, hands-on activities that not only brings out that little scientists in them, but they become active learners. But with all this fun and excitement we also need to keep our students safe while they enjoy there learning. Science can be fun but it can also be dangerous if we do not follow safe lab practices. Having appropriate equipment like the googles will protect them from potential harm when working with chemicals, hot water, or even flying objects.
