Students were able to turn on their cameras for the first time and explore all the features these devices offer. Anticipation grew as we arrived; assignment in hand; photograph the elements of art (line, color, shape, form, texture, space, and value) in nature.\r\n\r\nA beautiful morning, in the company friends and classmates, our students explored every inch of the Gardens. Colorful koi fish, bright blossoming flowers, textural rock formations, splashing waterfalls, and slow-moving turtles were just a few of the visual discoveries they captured on this journey. \r\n\r\nWith our trip complete, students will now be able to use these images to create new works of art based on observation.
