I teach reading support classes in a middle school in Austin, Texas. Most of my students are English Language Learners and struggling readers. My classes are very unique in that all struggling students are given individualized reading instruction. Everyone is welcomed, from the English Language Learners, students with special needs, to students with dyslexia. Everyone can learn to read with the right supports. Every student can be successful and experience the joys of being a fluent, engaged reader.
