From our first meeting to now I have been so impressed with how students have continued to work hard at something very challenging. So far club members have learned how to make a chain by hand, a chain with a hook, and the single crochet stitch. They have become a supportive community that help each other out with projects when they get stuck. It is so rewarding to see how proud they are when they finish a project!\r\n\r\nThe students were SO excited when looking at all the skeins of yarn we have to make things thanks to your kind donations! They were truly in awe with the kindness of our donors who were able to support this club geared at growing creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence. They love getting to pick a loved one's favorite colors or their own favorites to crochet something. The hooks, chain markers, googly eyes, and knitting tools have been essential in learning the basics to allow student creations to take life. The projects bags help keep club members organized so that we can maximize our club time!\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the year, we are well stocked to continue to keep learning and making. In our club we will continue to practice the basics so we can expand our skills to follow more complex patterns.
