By donating to this project, you are giving children an opportunity to use technology they normally would not be exposed to. There are several apps that can be downloaded for free that will gain students attention and interest and help them learn or reinforce skills taught in the classroom. The iPads can also be used as a behavior incentive to help students who have trouble staying focused. iPads are also small enough in which they can easily be moved around the room to use during center time or small group instruction with the teacher. I look forward to having these in my classroom as another approach in helping students learn.
