While we do this out of love for our students, it can sometimes be a heavy lift when we do not receive support. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for your support. Your generous donation to my classroom and to my students has had an incredibly positive impact on the learning environment. Not only are students awake, they are energized, engaged and ready to learn. When students learned that donors donated snacks to them, they were excited, yet curious to know why a stranger cared enough to purchase snacks for them. I informed them that their education was important to even those who they have yet to meet. Students are currently preparing hygiene bags that include socks, hats, gloves, snacks, Vienna sausages and/or tuna, bar soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste and a washcloth to distribute to the less fortunate community near our school!","fullyFundedDate":1755724709135,"projectUrl":"project/a-snack-a-day-keeps-a-student-engaged/9506471/","projectTitle":"A Snack A Day Keeps A Student Engaged!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Baez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8477886_orig.jpg?crop=828,827,x0,y237&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1701451214618","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/laprofebaez"},{"teacherId":6276067,"projectId":9749490,"letterContent":"Thank you for helping our students yet again! We previously had only a small handful of soccer balls to play with. With your donation, we are at a 1:1 ratio of soccer balls to soccer players. Practices have been so much more powerful and efficient now that every player can get a ball at their feet. We're becoming a much better team and playing more competitive games.
