The use of the Q-ball wireless microphone doubled classroom participation. Even my most timid students wanted to catch the ball and talk into the microphone.\r\n\r\nWe really enjoyed using it during our morning math review. This took an activity that could some times be boring or redundant and added new excitement. Everyone wanted to answer a question because that meant their classmate was going to throw a ball across the room to them.\r\n\r\nI have one student that doesn't talk very option and when they did it was so quiet. The excitement on his face and his classmate when he first used the microphone was amazing and a moment I will never forget. Every student needs to know that no matter what their voice matters and they deserve to be heard loud and clear.\r\n\r\nAgain, I sincerely appreciate the giving spirit of all my donors. Every morning the students eat breakfast in the classroom. While eating, you'll see some students concentrating on trying to figure out how to undo one the puzzles. Other students will find a friend and talk about a particular puzzle and discuss how to possibly disassemble it. It's also great to see the quiet ones become confident when they solve a puzzle and others ask them how they did it. It's a definite crowd pleaser that starts them off on the right foot for the day.
