My female students could pick up their preferred feminine products discreetly when the time happened away from home. Additionally, I was able to provide ice packs for two sprains, several cases of hives, multiple headaches, and various hand injuries after gym class. Sometimes the ice packs were needed until they could get to the nurse's office. Technology has changed and advanced a lot in that amount of time. I had not used an iPad to prepare and teach my lessons previously. But, I was willing to learn! My students were a huge help to me. They helped me navigate apps and share my screen to the Promethean board. They were my biggest cheerleaders!\r\n\r\nThe iPad allowed me to teach from anywhere in my classroom. I did not have to stay in one spot. I could walk and teach all around my classroom. This not only improved student's comprehension but also improved my classroom management. \r\n\r\nThe students felt a connection to my teaching as they were able to help me navigate apps. They were also able to 'act' like a teacher and complete the work on the iPad to display on the Promethean board. This is similar to the old-school sending students to the board.
