During my student teaching experience, I was able to see the impact that flexible seating had on my fifth-grade students, which is why I would like to include it within my first classroom as a fifth-grade teacher. Flexible seating provides students an outlet that they probably don't realize they need! Furthermore, students who are provided flexible seating become aware that they are able to focus more attentively throughout instruction and engage in academic conversations with their teacher and peers in the classroom. This can better overall benefit a student's learning experience because are stimulating other areas of their brain while also working on their academic work.

About my class
