As a Title I school, all of our students are on free or reduced lunch, and many do not have access to adequate nutrition outside of school-provided meals. These snacks helped support their physical well-being and ensure they had the energy to focus and perform at their best on stage. \r\n\r\nThis project is important because our students already face many economic challenges that can impact their ability to participate fully in extracurricular activities like music. Hunger or lack of energy can significantly affect their confidence, focus, and stamina during performances. Something as simple as a snack can make a huge difference in their confidence and ability to shine on stage. \"Fuel the Music: Snacks for Showtime!\" is about more than food—it's about showing our students that they are supported, seen, and celebrated.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of the McCormick Bands, we thank you for your donation.","fullyFundedDate":1746699550431,"projectUrl":"project/fuel-the-music-snacks-for-showtime/9267657/","projectTitle":"Fuel the Music: Snacks for Showtime!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Talley-Bowens","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9401564_orig.png?crop=445,445,x26,y38&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745429191103","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9401564"},{"teacherId":7649539,"projectId":8715833,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donations to my classroom. Your kindness will inspire our future to be givers when they are older and more establised. The ripple of your donation will last a long time. It is starting to warm up here and they are continuing to wear them every day; on cold days they wear them for outside; on hot days they wear them for the air conditioned colder classrooms.
