My students will feel as if they stepped back in time to the Harlem Renaissance with the opportunity to participate in a virtual field trip to the Harlem Renaissance Museum. Due to my school districts budget being frozen, we have limited funds for field trips. My school district is located in a high poverty area and educational funds are limited. Most of my students have never been outside of McCormick County. This opportunity to participate in a virtual field trip will provide a real-world opportunity. This may be the first time some of my students have ever traveled outside of the state of South Carolina.
