Students who are often quiet still finding their footing in a new language, a new country, a new school lit up. One student immediately flipped through the passport notebook and pointed to the flag of her home country, beaming. That moment said everything about what your generosity means to these young people.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the materials to launch student-led cultural showcases, where each student prepares a \"passport stop\" representing their home country. They practice speaking in English, answer questions from their classmates, and share food, music, and traditions that are deeply personal to them. For students who come from over a dozen different countries and language backgrounds, having a physical space and now the tools to say this is where I come from, and it matters has been transformative. Confidence that was hidden is now on full display.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our students are planning a Flag Parade and an Intercultural Fair to share their work with the broader school community. They are preparing presentations, designing visual displays, and writing reflections in both their home languages and English. Your donation didn't just fund supplies it gave our students a stage.
