As technology has become a necessity, having an iPad in the art room will allow the students the opportunity to explore many types of art media that are currently not easily accessible to them. They will be able to experiment with animation and production on an iPad by accessing many available apps. Also, as a student finishes their work of art, they will be able to immediately photograph the work and upload it to their digital portfolio. Digital portfolios are a great way for students to quickly share their work with others! These are just a few examples (of the many) how students will be able to use an iPad in Art. My students will thrive with the many options available to them by having access to digital media tools offered on an iPad.
