As a speech-language pathologist working with students in a Title One School, I see many children who benefit from opportunities to move while they learn. The wobble stools have quickly become a favorite seating option during our speech sessions. Students use them while practicing speech sounds, participating in conversation activities, and playing language games. One of my favorite moments was watching a student who usually has difficulty staying seated remain engaged throughout an entire activity while gently wobbling on the stool as we practiced his speech sounds. The movement helped him stay focused and confident.\r\n\r\nWhen the stools first arrived, my students were incredibly excited. They were eager to try them out and immediately started asking if they could use the \"wiggle seats\" during speech time. The novelty made therapy feel even more fun and motivating, and students have continued to enjoy using them while working hard on their communication goals.\r\n\r\nThese stools will continue to support students as we practice new speech sounds, build language skills, and participate in group activities where students take turns talking and listening. Having flexible seating helps students regulate their bodies so they can focus on communicating and learning. Your generosity has made our speech room an even more welcoming and supportive space for my students, and we are so grateful for your kindness and support. While technology is a regular part of our school day, young learners often need extra support to stay engaged and focused while using it. These headphones help block out background noise so students can truly concentrate during small-group instruction, literacy centers, and independent learning time on tablets. Whether they are listening to phonics lessons, practicing letter sounds, or engaging with learning apps, students are now better able to hear, process, and respond to instruction.\r\n\r\nThese headphones have been especially impactful for students who are multilingual learners, students with sensory sensitivities, and those who struggle with attention. Several students who previously became distracted during technology-based activities are now able to remain focused for longer periods of time and complete tasks with confidence. The clipboards have also allowed us to take learning beyond our desks — we've been using them for small group work, partner reading, and even writing lessons on the carpet or in the hallway.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was during a science observation activity.
