Many of our little learners come to school without having eaten enough to fuel their growing minds. Your support has helped eliminate that worry. Instead of feeling distracted by hunger, our students can now focus on what truly matters: learning, growing, and thriving.\r\n\r\nThese snacks have become a key part of our classroom routine. We would not been able to do this without your generous donations.\r\nHaving your support encourages me to continue in this profession and give my students experiences that will strengthen their metacognitive skills. \r\nThese skills impact students holistically because they become aware of their thinking and become flexible in their thinking so they can build on their prior knowledge and make knew connections. But when I received the email that my project was fully funded, I couldn't hold back the tears—it was a truly life-changing moment.\r\n\r\nWhen the books arrived, it was pure magic. My students were overjoyed, like it was Christmas morning! Three enormous boxes, packed to the brim with books, transformed our classroom. The excitement was contagious as my kids eagerly dove in, each picking out titles that spoke to them. The boys raced to grab Trapped in a Video Game, while the girls couldn't wait to explore the Raina Telgemeier graphic novels.\r\n\r\nThis quarter, I've seen a remarkable shift in my students. More of them met their reading goals than ever before. Students who used to ignore my book collection now linger in my library every day. Some of them, who had never considered picking up Harry Potter, are now diving into the series.
