Entering first grade at my elementary school is a very big deal. Students will be starting a new and exciting chapter in their lives as first graders, after their first kindergarten experience, most are nervous, yet excited to be "big boys and girls". A majority of the students at my school come from low income families and need a lot of help and support. As this is my second year teaching, it is such a reward to teach such wonderful students. My students and the staff at have become my second family. Seeing my students' faces each morning really brightens up my day. They are such a smart and fun bunch to work with, and they deserve to have a place to house their things! I would like to provide them with seat sacks so they can have somewhere to store their own supplies!
