The standing desk quickly became the most requested item, with students asking ahead of time if they could use it during class. It has been great to see students who usually struggle to stay seated choose a space where they can stand comfortably and stay engaged. The sensory tools were also met with enthusiasm, and students were eager to try them out.\r\nWe now use these resources during independent work, small group instruction, and longer lessons when focus tends to drop. One student, Kylie, used to keep her head down during math and rarely participated. Now she chooses to stand at the desk, completes her work, and is much more engaged in lessons. Instead of tearing paper or distracting others, students have appropriate options they can turn to when they need support. I've noticed fewer disruptions and smoother transitions during class.\r\nMoving forward, I plan to continue building routines around these tools so students can independently choose what helps them stay focused and successful. These materials have given me options I didn't have before and are helping create a more manageable and supportive classroom environment. Thank you for making this possible for my students.","fullyFundedDate":1764684824919,"projectUrl":"project/tools-that-help-my-students-focus-move/9898884/","projectTitle":"Tools That Help My Students Focus, Move, and Thrive","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Greengrass","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10352122_orig.jpg?crop=1039,1039,x79,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1763326513719","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10352122"},{"teacherId":1073078,"projectId":5847658,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation to expand my classroom library with additional graphic novels.
