On any given day a Middle School student experiences a roller coaster of emotions. Emotional learning and self regulation is essential to academic learning. In the school counseling office it is our job to guide and empower them through it all! Help me create a calming station utilizing the Calm App, allowing students to self guide through de-stressing meditations and breathing exercises. We have already been awarded a premium subscription to Calm (worth $60 annually) and now are just seeking an engaging tool for students to access it on. And don't worry, this is just one of the tools in our tool box! Providing kids with a brief peaceful moment away from it all will help them return to the classroom with a quieter mind ready for learning!
