Moving into a smaller classroom meant finding creative ways to keep things organized while still making the room feel warm and welcoming. Thanks to your generosity, we now have new seating for our small-group area, which gives students a comfortable place to work together, get extra help, and enjoy learning. We also received a mailbox organizer that we've turned into individual book cubbies! Each morning, students can easily grab their books and settle in for our morning reading time. It's a simple thing, but it has made a big difference in helping us start our days with a calm, organized routine.\r\n\r\nOne of the things that matters most to me is making sure my students feel safe and comfortable when they walk into our classroom. Many of our students live in communities where they don't always feel safe, so I want our classroom to be a place where they can relax, feel cared for, and focus on just being kids and learning. The resources you have provided may seem like small additions, but they help create the kind of environment where students feel like they belong.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, we'll keep building our reading habits, working together in small groups, and learning to be more independent and responsible for our materials.
