After-school clubs were always fun for the students and teachers. I enjoyed running 2 STEM clubs; one for boys and girls and the other for girls only. Students will need opportunities that will allow them to participate in safe ways. My programs will not be sponsored by my school this year as the emphasis will be on virtual learning of top priority subjects. Therefore, I am asking for help to still provide robust and fun learning for students. The products I have selected can be used with various online platforms such as Google Classroom, Nearpod, and Zoom to get students engaged. I have chosen food items that can be easily and cheaply mailed to a student's home to encourage participation in regular classes and after-school programming to continue promoting interest in STEM careers. STEM education creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and enables the next generation of innovators.
