From the first minute when they saw the boxes their eyes were as wide as saucers. The students worked in 2 groups to build the robots then the fun began. After showing how to use the remotes out to the hall way we went. The kids decided to have races to see who could get it down the hall the fastest. The giggles, at them going in circles, and out right laughter when they ran them into the bathroom was the best proof of them being fully engrossed in learning how the robots worked. That excitement was nothing compared to when we opened the tempra paint sticks. If we had let them they would have done nothing but paint all day.\r\n\r\nWe will be using the chalk for a special black out picture day where they will draw on black and white paper to observe the difference and then they'll spray one of the pictures with water to see what happens.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for helping to give our classroom some of the most needed art supplies. The students have been having a blast using the cameras, exploring taking pictures, using the different settings, taking videos and looking at the pictures they have taken. In the first week that the cameras were in the center they took over 400 pictures!\r\nThe cool glue gun has also been such a hit. They love that they are able to use a glue gun, we heard \"That's only for adults we can't use that!\" so many times.
