I can't believe how quickly we reached our goal! The vacuum came promptly and I've already put it to use. The kids were very excited about our new \"pet shark\" when we unboxed it and only a few were disappointed that it wasn't a real shark. Students have already come into the room saying it looks different. One even said \"wow it's so clean!\" and jumped onto the carpet. \r\n\r\nI know the students are already feeling safer and cleaner in the music room. I hope that in the next few weeks I will be able to see a decrease in the amount of classroom management surrounding picking up and throwing trash/dirt from the floor. \r\n\r\nPlease enjoy the photos of students doing what they love in the music room-- making music!","fullyFundedDate":1776726130663,"projectUrl":"project/vacuum-for-music-room/10200756/","projectTitle":"Vacuum for Music Room","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lampe","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10480948"},{"teacherId":1917829,"projectId":9832266,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation. My students and I were so excited when we opened up the boxes and packages all together as a class. They said it felt like Christmas! I have let them explore with each of the different items we recieved and they definitely have their favorites. The puzzles and the sorting activities seem to be the top choices.\r\n\r\nEach morning they come in and do a task or read books, but they are most excited when the fine motor tools and bins are set out for them to explore with. I have seen an improvement in their fine motor skills like cutting with scissors and writing in general. \r\nI am not 100 percent sure if this is due to the fine motor bins, but I would like to think it is. I plan to implement these at the beginning of the next school year and hope to see the impact it will have on future students.\r\n\r\nThank you to the Humble Hearts Foundation for donated the last bit needed to get this project funded so quickly. The headphone set you helped fund has already made a noticeable difference for my students. The sound quality, comfort, and durability of the headphones have been outstanding. They've created a more focused and quiet environment during testing and independent work times, especially benefiting students with reading delays who rely on audio supports for instruction and assessments. With these headphones, every student can engage with learning materials in a way that meets their individual needs.\r\n\r\nThe mesh zipper pouches have also become an essential part of our daily routines. We're currently using them to store multiplication and division games that help students practice strategies and reinforce skills in a fun, hands-on way. These resources are used every day and have made a substantial impact on student learning and engagement. Our class size has recently grown from 25 to 35 students, which means even more children now benefit from your kindness and generosity.
