The students are thrilled that they can access the items in our classroom so much easier now. Not to mention it looks so much cleaner and organized and a lot less trashy. Also, the notebook paper is so appreciated as many students do not have money for school supplies and I'm happy to help supply them with pencils and paper every day when I can.\r\n\r\nI also had some of my students volunteer to help put the cabinet/book shelf together and they did an amazing job working together. It definitely gave them a sense of pride that they helped in making our classroom better!\r\n\r\nThe students also loved the new fidget toys as many of our old ones needed to be thrown away due to over use. Each design was inspired by school pride or graduation themes, turning our sidewalks into a colorful tribute to the seniors.\r\n\r\nThe excitement was contagious—students loved the chance to get outside, think big, and work on a scale much larger than our classroom usually allows. As they worked, conversations buzzed with ideas for future themes and ways they could improve or expand their designs next time.\r\n\r\nThis fall, we hope to take that same creative energy into our community by getting permission to bring a fall-themed chalk art walk to our local Main Street. Your generosity helped plant the seed for this project, and it's already inspiring students to think beyond our school walls and share their art with the wider community.
