Balance is a huge part of a musical ensemble. Our current mellophones are in the key of Bb making it very hard to find music for and even harder to make them blend with the other instruments in the group. Our mellophones over ten years old which in marching band adds a lot of dents and scratches that cannot be fixed. A new mellophone would help the overall sound of our group and allow my current player to move forward in her playing ability. It will help my band to hear the middle of the group and balance everything out.

About my class
