In light of Covid-19, we were forced to remove all computers from our HS Lab. Students use Chromebooks, so what once was a computer lab filed with keyboards, mice, monitors and towers is now an empty room full of dated desks and mismatched chairs. When I started in the classroom nearly 5 years ago, we made it through a teacher walkout, Covid 2020, among a few other things, this has left my classroom dated, and in need of a new facelift. These funds will allow my students to have a classroom with aesthetics like a clock and neon sign, that are sure to help them stay focused, and able to learn. These resources will allow much needed updates to my classroom now that it's been converted from a computer lab to a regular classroom. This will also help organize, structure and assist students in their learning. The Smart TV will allow me to cast my computer to it without having to rely on hooking through an Apple TV that has become in reliable.
