You helped make learning impactful, hands-on, and fun! All of my school's students were able to contribute in some way to the success of our pollinator garden. They learned about pollinators, completed research using the pollinator books, and completed different jobs to get our garden growing! \r\n\r\nThe students were excited to see the new, colorful, engaging books and to get to do hands-on jobs. The milkweed purchased through the grant even came with caterpillars, and a couple formed chrysalises that were visible to the students! The kiddos have been excited to see the plants grow and bloom and to see the caterpillars go through metamorphosis! \r\n\r\nMy hope is that the garden grows successfully over the summer to support pollinators. Then, when the students return in August, they can see beautiful blooms, parts of plants, and how the garden supports the pollinators. I hope they witness that, with just a bit of effort, they can help make the world a better place for every living creature!
