My 2nd and 3rd grade music students love being exposed to music of all kinds. They are also fascinated by things like cassettes and vinyl records. Our current stereo system does not afford us the possibilities of utilizing all of these mediums. We use prerecorded music for our musicals/plays, and this system would allow us to expound on the use of said recordings. The remote will allow me to be in the midst of my students, so that I can assist them in following musical roadmaps, and not be stationed by the stereo unit. Students will be able to explore various music listening assignments, and will utilize the stereo on a daily basis as they sing to prerecorded accompaniments. This will certainly enhance our daily music successes!
