One of our favorite moments so far was during an addition lesson when students used counters and number mats to solve problems. I watched as students who typically struggle became more confident, proudly explaining their thinking to classmates using the manipulatives as visual support.\r\n\r\nWhen my first graders first saw the materials, their faces lit up with excitement. They couldn't wait to explore and immediately asked when they could start using them. The hands-on tools made math feel like a game instead of a challenge, and students were eager to dive right in.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our classroom feels more engaging and inclusive. Donors truly got a peek into our classroom the moment students began collaborating, problem-solving, and celebrating their successes together. The next steps for my students include using these materials to strengthen subtraction skills and build a solid understanding of place value. With these resources, they are gaining the confidence and skills they need to grow as mathematicians each day.","fullyFundedDate":1762265317326,"projectUrl":"project/count-play-learn-math-tools-for-succe/9750367/","projectTitle":"Count, Play, Learn: Math Tools for Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Barnes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8302499_orig.jpg?crop=4000,4000,x1080,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1789573120598","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8302499"},{"teacherId":8306492,"projectId":8251832,"letterContent":"Your donation has helped our classroom.immensely!
