We use them in Math for math problems, writing words and sentences and center time. They allow for large group and small group work. We are able to walk around and use them in a variety of different ways. The kids love being able to write and show answers. This helps me stay in one spot and they can just hold it up and show me the answer. \r\n\r\nWe use them in Math for math problems, drawing shapes and numbers. They work with partners, in small group and large groups. This allows them to write and erase quickly to answer the next problems. \r\n\r\nWe use them in ELA to write words, sentences and draw pictures. I can do quick assessments, spelling tests and check for understanding. They make our inclement weather days even more enjoyable. The students love using their imaginations to build all kinds of wonderful things. On days when they earn lots of DOJO points, our class reward system also allows them to take out the STEM supplies and build. \r\n\r\nThe students also LOVE the stress balls we received. They are a favorite in the class treasure bin. They love the feel of them and it really helps keep them calm and focused while working. The other treasure box supplies have also been a hit. \r\n\r\nWhen the boxes started rolling in, the kids loved seeing all the new items we got. They wanted to touch and play with everything.
