They make our inclement weather days even more enjoyable. The students love using their imaginations to build all kinds of wonderful things. On days when they earn lots of DOJO points, our class reward system also allows them to take out the STEM supplies and build. \r\n\r\nThe students also LOVE the stress balls we received. They are a favorite in the class treasure bin. They love the feel of them and it really helps keep them calm and focused while working. The other treasure box supplies have also been a hit. \r\n\r\nWhen the boxes started rolling in, the kids loved seeing all the new items we got. They wanted to touch and play with everything. We really love them all and thank you all for helping get us what we need for our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1755696296923,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-learning-for-little-learners/9547975/","projectTitle":"Hands-On Learning for Little Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Callender","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/jcallender"},{"teacherId":9990913,"projectId":9231184,"letterContent":"The shelves play a crucial role in the organization and functionality of the classroom, especially when it comes to providing designated storage for the students personal items such as blankets, towels and other brain break materials. By offering each child their own space for materials, the classroom becomes more structured and predictable, which supports young children's sense of security and responsibility. Children learn to take ownership of their belongings, developing independence and routines that are essential for early learning environments.\r\n\r\nIn addition to promoting personal responsibility, shelves maintain a clean and orderly classroom. Instead of items being scattered or piled in out of classroom cubbies, clearly labeled shelves ensure the materials are neatly stored and accessible. This organization minimizes clutter and creates a calm, inviting atmosphere, which is especially important during transition times like brain break. Overall, the use of shelving for storage supports both physical space and the social-emotional development of young learners.","fullyFundedDate":1747333128576,"projectUrl":"project/brain-break-storage/9231184/","projectTitle":"Brain Break Storage","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gailey","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9990913_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757647257840","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9990913"},{"teacherId":9904414,"projectId":9259619,"letterContent":"The impact you have made on my classroom this year is astronomical! The items donated have blessed my students and I. We are grateful to those who care enough to see a need and help fill it!\r\n\r\nWe are grateful to have scissors to help us with our projects that require cutting. We are grateful for the fun and colorful pencils. We are grateful for the headphones with microphones as our new reading program requires the students to speak into it to record themselves reading! I am very grateful for the Lysol - as we've journeyed back into the swing of school, so has the germs and sickness journeyd with us! Last but not least, we are very grateful for the ergonomic chairs! They are fun and colorful and add the final element to our classroom. We get to set up our classroom as we've always wanted to, and now to get to choose which tables we'll sit at! The kids were very excited to notice the difference in the room with the new chairs. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for all the help you've given us! Materials would get misplaced, and students would sometimes feel frustrated when they couldn't find their things. Now, with the chair pockets, every child has a special space for their folders, journals, and daily supplies. This has not only helped us stay organized but has also given my students a sense of responsibility and independence.\r\n\r\nThe chair pockets have also saved us valuable learning time. Instead of searching for crayons or books, my students can quickly grab what they need and focus on the activity at hand. For young learners who thrive on structure and routine, this small change has made a big impact on our classroom environment.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, my students feel proud of their space. Having their very own pocket makes them feel important and included. It has boosted their confidence and helped create a stronger sense of ownership in our classroom community.\r\n\r\nWe are truly grateful for your support. Your gift has brought both joy and practicality to our classroom, and it will continue to benefit many students for years to come.
