Having the grow light shelf made it easy for me to implement a whole unit lesson about the plant life cycle including the planting, actually harvesting our vegetables and best of all tasting them. \r\n\r\nThe children listen to, read stories, and wrote their own stories about growing plants and vegetables. Then came the big moment where the children planted their seeds, watered them, and placed them under the grow light. \r\n\r\nThe next few days were intense with them going to check to see if anything was happening. Then all of a sudden! Seedlings and sprouts! The children were jumping up and down and high-fiving each other at their great accomplishment.
