I love that I am a technology teacher, and I love when students light up to learn new technology. Nowadays they are so inundated with technology, I want to put a spin on the integration of old-school hardback books, in which students can see themselves. Literature in a computer lab! A way that students can read and then create digitally is my emphasis. The pandemic may have hindered the education system, but it can not stop it. I know that there was a time that I desired my lower-income babies to have a new iMac in front of them. I wanted them to know a Windows OS by the 3rd grade, and have full access to making iMovies on an iPad, and they did. I know have the desire to step into ensuring they are reading in my lab too, and see themselves in what they read!
