It has made a meaningful difference in creating a focused and supportive testing environment for our students during assessments. Our students have to take several assessments online, such as CoGAT and DIBELS, and it is essential that students are able to clearly hear directions, audio prompts, and passages without distraction. With access to individual headphones, each child can fully engage with the test material, ensuring that their performance reflects their true abilities rather than being impacted by background noise or interruptions.\r\n\r\nIn addition, we are using the headphones for other learning activities in the classroom. Students are able to read and have lessons at their levels on the computer, so headphones help us to reduce distractions for all learners in the classroom. While some students are testing, others may be engaged in small group instruction or independent work on their computers. The headphones allow testing students to remain focused on their assessments while maintaining a calm and productive classroom environment. This has been especially beneficial for students who are easily distracted or who need a quieter setting to do their best thinking.\r\n\r\nOverall, this generous donation has helped us provide a more equitable and comfortable testing experience for every student. By minimizing noise and allowing students to work at their own pace with clear audio support, the headphones have strengthened both confidence and performance.
