I am a preschool teacher working in an elementary school with children who are 4 and 5 years old. Our school is an Equity Plus School, since more than 75 percent of our students receive free or reduced-price lunches. My goal as a teacher is to provide a safe and exciting environment in which children experience the joy of learning. In this respect, books play an essential role, engaging and broadening the children's curiosity, imagination and comprehension skills.
