Throughout the project, the children were fully engaged as they observed stages of the life cycle from the tiny caterpillars to chrysalis, and finally to beautiful butterflies. This hands on learning opportunity sparked curiosity, excitement, and an understanding of how living things grow and change. The project had a strong impact on the children's learning. It helped them to understand life cycles strengthened observation and recording skills as they drew pictures and discussed changes and thoughts. The project created a sense of wonder and joy.
