The school I teach at is 50 years old and the age shows. The carpet that is currently in my classroom is ripped and stained beyond belief. It's important to me that the students feel proud of their classroom, have a space to collaborate, work, and have morning meetings. Getting a new rug of this size would mean that the students could sit and work comfortably, while also covering some of the stains and rips. On this rug, I plan to host meaningful conversations about the concepts we are studying to deepen students' understanding. This rug will loved by my current students and future students for many, many years.
