We use them daily during our literacy and math lessons to practice writing alphabet letters, forming words, writing numbers, and drawing pictures. The boards give students a fun, hands-on way to practice their skills, erase their work, and try again without worrying about making mistakes. The children enjoy having their own boards and are excited to show off what they can write and draw. These boards have made our lessons more interactive and engaging while helping our young learners build confidence and develop important early writing skills. The children have enjoyed reading along with me and discussing the pictures and how the pictures relate to things we have seen and experienced along with something we have never seen. The class compared the fire safety reader to our trip to the local fire department making comparisons on things we saw and did to the pictures especially when it came to the fire hose. We have been doing many things with pumpkins and the children loved seeing the pumpkin pictures and talking about things you could eat and make with the pumpkins. The best picture and description was how their was a pumpkin race in the water. The class loved seeing the super large pumpkin with someone inside the pumpkin rowing it down the river. They even asked me if I would do that. We discussed how many seeds and pumpkin goop we thought would be in that pumpkin.
