Each school year begins with students bringing their own supplies to the classroom, and headphones are often a supply that students come without. Having a central location in my classroom where students can have access to borrow headphones will be so beneficial.\r\nMy students are so excited to be able to use the headphones when using iPad apps that make noise and we have already started the year going over our routines and expectations on how to check the headphones in and out, and how to properly use and care for the headphones, and when it is appropriate to use the headphones during class.\r\nIn particular, my special needs students who often need cool down time for their social emotional needs are especially excited to use these new headphones during their breaks to regulate their emotions while they listen to their calming music and use their de-escalation strategies.\r\nThank you again from the bottom of my heart for your generosity.
