These materials will be used in the classroom. We will be transitioning to a STEM school this upcoming school year so these activities will be used for hands-on learning to make lessons more engaging and interactive, therefore making the instruction more effective and meaningful for students. The use of the flexible seating seats and table will be keeping up with the 21st century style of teaching, allowing students to learn comfortably as they work in the classroom. The Body Systems model and Real World STEM challenges will help me to immerse students in our science standards in a way that builds community and supports all students. The math machines will really build the foundation for student’s fluency with their math facts in a fun and engaging way. In addition, these machines cover a variety of skills so there will be one for every student, regardless of the math level they are at!
