My students love playing the game so much, that I do not believe they even know that they are learning at the same time. The chair pockets are a huge organizational success. These materials have quickly become one of the most used tools in our STEM classroom. My students have been using the IO Blocks to design and build their own creations, including robots, animals, vehicles, and imaginative structures. \r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the IO Blocks, their excitement was immediate and contagious. Their eyes lit up, and they eagerly began exploring how the pieces connected. Many students who are typically hesitant to participate became deeply engaged, experimenting, collaborating, and proudly sharing their creations with classmates. The creativity cards and augmented-reality app have also helped students practice following instructions and inspired them to try more complex builds with confidence.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue using the IO Blocks to support engineering challenges and STEM design projects. They've also transformed our writing center; my students who are working hard on writing their names are now more engaged than ever thanks to \"rainbow writing.\" Having a wide variety of colors allows them to take pride in their work and stay focused on their goals. \r\n\r\nThe new easel pads have been equally impactful for displaying new concepts clearly to the whole group. We recently used them to brainstorm our New Year's resoultions, and they have been vital for modeling complex math like regoruping with addition and subtraction. Being able to see these steps visual and color-coded on a large scale makes a world of difference for student understanding.\r\n\r\nWe've also had some special moments with your gift. During the holidays, the markers helped us follow multi-step instructions to build snowmen, and just recently they brought our New Year's resoultions to life! Now with condensing the carpet space to a carpet that is smaller we are experiencing way less behavior problems and unsafe behaviors! We are still able to do gonoodles for shake breaks and our students know to stay on their smiley faces! The students also love to track their data and see how far they have grown or set goals for their next data point with the graph paper!
