My students have access to a ball pit in my classroom for sensory needs; but currently the ball pit has a low supply of balls. After researching ball pit balls, I have found crush proof commercial grade balls that can be used without being damaged by larger students or even adults. As a teacher, I have climbed into my classroom ball pit to provide one-on-one instruction to individual students because that was the best location to help meet a students' academic and sensory needs. By using the crush proof balls, adults and students would be able to use the ball pit at school. During sensory breaks throughout the school day sometimes 2 students will use the ball pit at the same time which allows students to practice their social skills. My students will be able to have sensory breaks using the ball pit which will allow students to be ready to access academic instruction throughout the school day.
