In the Lowe's Grove community, most students cannot afford to purchase or rent their own instruments. The addition of this alto saxophone has helped 6 students learn and develop their abilities. The kids really enjoyed the snacks I had ordered with your donations. We practice twice a week for three hours, and that is a long time to be at school, so when the kids know around 5:30 it's snack time they really get excited. The snacks also help many of the parents out, with the cost of everything being so high this year, I am still able to provide snacks for the kids. \r\n\r\n I used the donated funds to purchase snacks that I know that they enjoy. I definitely don't eat the snacks I grew up eating. They love the hot spicy snacks, and the snacks that are very sweet. Having the binders is so super important as intiitally we tried using composition notebooks but they were not really meeting the need.
