For several of my students, access to food is not guaranteed outside of school. Because of your generosity, I was able to create 25–30 hunger relief kits filled with nonperishable meals, snacks, and drinks for students to take home over the summer. Each bag included items such as Cup Noodles, microwaveable meals, juice, water, and snacks—simple resources, but ones that can make a very real difference for a child who may otherwise go without. Although I know these kits will not carry students through the entire summer, it truly warms my heart to know that this project was able to provide a starting point, a moment of relief, and a reminder that my students are cared for by people beyond the walls of our school.\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful parts of this experience was watching the students' reactions as the items arrived and the kits began coming together. There was genuine excitement, gratitude, and curiosity as they saw the bags being packed with food just for them. For some, it was the comfort of knowing they would have something to eat later. For others, it was simply the feeling of being thought about and supported. That moment was bigger than snacks or meals—it was a reminder to my students that they matter, that their needs matter, and that there are people willing to show up for them in tangible ways. As a teacher, that is something I will never take lightly.\r\n\r\nYour support did more than provide supplies—it gave my students dignity, care, and hope. It helped me meet a need that extends far beyond academics and reminded my students that community still exists in powerful ways.
