If fully funded, the group will continue their quest as musical ambassadors throughout the area and beyond. The group has performed for such events as parade, company events, pep rallies, and for flood victims in various states and local areas. We need new sets of instruments. Having new and upgraded instruments will continue to give the individual students confidence in what they are doing, taking ownership of the instrument they are playing, and instill discipline within the group. These are complex practices that will and have carried over into the classroom, and into their daily lives. The instruments are several years old, and are in constant need of repair, from a few nuts and bolts, to drum heads and paint. Myself and several parents do a good job of keeping everything in working condition, but sometimes things age out and its time to get replacements. This is where we really could use the kindness of Donors Choose.
